Four steps. No launcher from us, and no client files hosted here.

  1. Step 1

    Use a client you own

    Ashenveil speaks Cataclysm build 5.4.8.18414. Use a World of Warcraft client you already own. This site does not distribute the game.

  2. Step 2

    Set the realmlist

    In the client Data folder, open realmlist.wtf, or the locale folder if that is where your client keeps it. Replace the contents with the line below.

  3. Step 3

    Create an account

    Register on this site. The game login is the username, not the email. The password you chose is hashed before it is stored.

  4. Step 4

    Enter

    Start the client, choose logon.ashenveil.gg, and log in. If the realm list looks stale, delete Cache and WTF, then start again.
